Women and Children

Women of rural Orissa wish to participate in the rehabilitation process of the state. They try to make the best out of the little that they have. With dreams of their own and suggestions of program implementation they want to know more about the programs that are being implemented, who is implementing them and how their area or family can participate in the program. Their desire to help has encouraged the national UN Volunteers in assisting them. The Women Groups formed to begin with shall be involved in raising awareness of the heat wave preparedness and community cleanliness.
